I see everyone has also overlooked the fact that EVERY pirate can sing! They laugh, they dance, they have fun. Ninjas are all about self control and meditation. There's no better form of meditation than several bottles of rum, a head full of sea chanties, and an equally bawdy band of ladies (or fellas if you're a lady pirate) to ease a poor sailor's heart when he goes in to port! So you ninjas can have your rock gardens and your bonzai trees.... cause I prefer my wine, women*, and song!

Ninjas have sex in the dark. They're happy all the time. Pirates get dirty chicks from the harbors - that's why their hearts are poor. (So are their pockets after the nasty chicks take their booty, er, money from them). There has been a rumor that ninjas were homosexual - it was actually some of the Samurai that were like that (I have proof from a documentary).

Anyways, this is the longest thread in a while....all about some good points being made....

P.S. I was a ninja one time at an SCA battle - they told me I couldn't just run in from the trees, attack someone, and run back into the trees. They also said I would have to fight during the day. A 6'4" tall ninja dressed in white during the middle of the day ain't gonna use no stealth attack to defeat a warrior in mail armor

The secret about pirates picking up "dirty" chicks from harbors is that they love ALL women equally and are not picky. They can look a woman in the eyes and tell her she is beautiful because they mean it If ninjas drank more rum like pirates, they wouldn't have to hide the shame of ugly women by sneaking around in the dark... for we all know ninjas wear masks to hide their hideous visages and only get lucky because they wear a mask and have to sneak around in the dark.

I feel for all the ugly, disfigured ninjas who have to hide behind masks because they are too hideous to be seen by the light of day. That, my friend, is worse than a poor sailor's heart... for rum easilly takes the sting of lonliness away and ninjas are lonely all the time.

I look in the mirror everyday and say "OMG what a handsome ninja, er, stealthy male acrobat!!"

If you'd ever seen a ninja without his mask, you'd fall in love right then and there. We, er, they have to wear the masks because we, er, they are soooo handsome (and beautiful for the kunoichi - don't forget our, er, their women ninja!) and if alot of people saw ninjas faces they'd be 1) dead in seconds and 2) struck with love for life...before they died of course.

EverQuest has pirates to fight against....no ninjas yet

Alright, so pirates use guns, and ninjas use stealth...and that makes ninjas a more wimpy to some, sure...

But look at a ninja's arsenal, it includes things like knives on the end of staves, shurikens, poisons, special things like foot pads, and smoke bombs.

Pirates...they just have a wide variety of rum (and that's only if they're good pirates who can steal wide varieties of rum).
