I prefer D&D tabletop style...

...though it has been 5 years since I last played.

Ooh. Ireland. Nice scenery. Can't say that I really like the violence, though.

To be honest, there isn't much to buy, aside from the three rule books. Edition 3.5 - you might want to stay away from. Some find 2nd Edition a little more complex and thus don't like it, while others find it to be the only pure version of D&D left.

But now that Wizards of the Coast is pumping out books like a manufacturing line, you're sure to buy an obselete set regardless of what you do.

ehh...what violence would that be? as far as i know, there has been a peace process for the last ten or so years! In the height of the troubles in n. ireland, there was nearly 3000 people killed over a 20-30 year period. in america, there is over 30,000 people killed every year due to gun violence! I lived in the north all my life, and i have never seen the violence that you talk about!
my wife, was in millwaukee, when a gang of black kids surrounded her car, tried to drag her from the vehicle. climbed on top of the vehicle, broke all the windows in the car, jumped up and down on the roof, and basically terorized her. the car had to be written off. what i am trying to say is, that violence is everywhere, not just in ireland!
thanks for the advice, tordek...i will surely look into those games.

Heh, I was referring to your pubs, but alrighty then.

My dad's an ex-Marine and has a concealed firearms license. Anyone who messes with him is royally screwed.

:p

What does any of this have to do with D&D?! Get to the good stuff, people.

Mmm...+4 Staff of Feather-Fall. Tastes like apple pie.

Well, however much a fairly useless but rare and cool weapon made of enchanted steel can taste like something that's not intestine-lacerating. Still, I love useless effects on enchanted weapons.

Hi:

I agree 100%

The last thing i wanted to talk about here was politics! To tell the truth, it kind of took me by surprise, and angered me a little; it was the last thing i expected to here!

I am sorry for venting, and i am sorry if i offended anyone.

Regretfully...

Scorchas.

Its alright. We all need to vent once and a while...some more than others.

I'm sad they changed the bag of holding rules. You used to be able to turn it inside out, put it over your head and walk through walls, but now if you turn them inside out, they break and release all their contents.
