It owns all other games that exist. If you do not play starcraft, you are a sad sad sad pathetic inhuman slug who is only fit to be gorund under the might feet of a protoss dragoon.

I must admit that the game is quite good, but not THAT SUPERIOR  , I am not playing online though too bad it's a little old also but still quite fun. :-D

*begins to pummel peacemark, but continues to talk about how amazing stracraft is*

Been working on a new strategy, since my old one basically only worked on comps. BW is possibly the most respected real-time computer strategy game that there is, one of the two games played to get into the special computer gaming awards.
Starcraft owns all. Yes... even you PM....

StarCraft is a good strategy game for the commanding and controlling point of view, I must admit. However, I have found other games to be far superior in tactics using squads and platoons. For example, the entire Operation Flashpoint series. You'll be amazed what a handful of Special Ops people could do to an entire tank column with just a few mines and satchel charges.

Anywho, two thumbs up to StarCraft for controlling large numbers of kick-butt units who can be used to complete your objectives, but it lacks the awesome element of personal feeling of battle that the more prestigious first person shooters offer, such as, once more, the OF series.

:P

*slaps tbeck around with a :fish:*

You're right about the platoon and squad thingy, but..... i hate 1st person shooters, so for me that doesn't come into account. Plus there's the importance of shooting skill, replacing some of the strategy in SC.

Anythign Blizz touches turns to gold in my opinion, SC, WC and Diablo are all awsome series, im sure Starcraft ghost might be able to sway ur hatred for FPS ;)

Oblivion was very good... especially if you have a serious gaming rig and can run the highest settings.

Heh. Agreed.

Now I need a 360 because my Compaq Presario that runs Linux doesn't like Oblivion.

As fun as taking over Terran Commands and over running them with infested marines (and that is SO fun!) Oblivion is waaay better. And its waaay better on a 360. Even versus the modding aspect its just... wrong.
