DragonCourt... play anymore?

Hey,

im just asking everyone how much this game is actually played anymore. I realize its ancient in terms of online popularity, or so the guides/sites i read make it seem. That being the case, there wouldnt be much action on a message board about it.

What is the game that everyone is captivated by these days? Id like to move on to somthing more current, that has a lot of actives.

Thanks!

DC is still our mainstay game (since we started out in it), though the board is slowly shifting more towards a "free-form roleplaying" community.

i looked up "free form role playing"... and from what i gather it's just text-based? You literally make up your own game with others? I dont get it, how can that be entertaining.

Well if anyone finds any quality games to play like dragn court, runescape, idlepimps, warcraft, halo3, etc etc etc etc... let me know, im a game junkie.

Titan still has a faction in Newage, the forum is here http://clantitan.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

If you have the time, you could try EVE online, it's massive pvp multiplayer game like WOW but is much more flexible. It is staged in a space universe; you can have faction wars to conquor territory in the game, sabotage, spying, alliances, different space crafts fit for different purposes, guns, armors, drones, skills, maintain relations with factions, a completely free market - it is actually profitable to set yourself up as a merchant. Ofcourse, there are still friendly zones for rookies, quests, ai ships to shoot and scrap for valuables, but the end game is huge. Unlike WOW, everybody plays in the same universe. Instead of breaking the game up on many servers, they've chosen to let different areas be controlled by different servers.

Biggest asset/annoyance besides beeing a non-free game, is that it takes so much time. Not exactly in terms of gaming hours, but gaining skill takes real life days, so be ready for years of gaming experience!

So. I just played for the first time in a long while. Just thought I'd mention that.

I play once every full moon. I'm surprised because about 1/3 of my characters are still active every time I log in.
