i'm not as knowledgable as most of the other people here, but i'm going to guess that you don't have any antiques. i started my character about 3 years ago, and that was when they already put a limit on how many enchants you can put on a weapon. if you have a weapon with thousands of skill, then that's probably an antique, but you'd know if you had one because you'd have traded for it or bought it.

I would first suggest you request being a member in this forum. There is a post at the top of this forum to do so (DC Member Services access request). Second, you will need to ask these questions in the Hall of Answers. More people check that forum than this one and will be glad to answer your questions.

As far as antiques. They go way back. Maybe in 2003 or further back. Back when the best weapon was a Masamune and had stats of about 20attack or so and you could enchant as high as you wanted. Most antiques have 1000+ skill or more or them.

To clarify something Warscott said...

Most tiques actually don't have 1000+ skill, those are just the "high profile" tiques you see being traded. The tiques with 300 or less skill (typically refered to as "baby tiques") are not as valuable and thus you don't see them traded around as much but out number the number of 1000k skill tiques.
