Mage Alts?

Postby Agar02 » November 13th, 2006, 4:09 am

Anyone else make a mage alt? An extra character with ONLY mage levels or nearly so, and mondo wits, to mail stuff to for enchanting? Is this a good idea, or will the % chance of things "rusting" in the mail mess up any improvments a mage could help with?

My mage just turned lvl 17 with 31 out of 32 levels of mage, and a mere 102 wits. I have to quest every now and then to keep my rank and access to wits training ...

Honestly, I don't see a point in this. Just keep the stats on your character high enough, and you won't have any trouble enchanting.

id have to agree with curu
this isnt a really good idea... also if you oil your gear it wont rust you can find snake oil of some beasts or make oil using the quest in the castle

anyway mage helps in enchanting (or so i have heard) but not by much

Mage Guilds don't even enter the equation. It's all Wits.

using mage/mezz may help you raise those wits... but i do suggest that you get other skills besides mage :)
