That's my question - what is the direction of DC? Is Fred going to improve it somehow or are we just left to enchant our gear to its highest and kill the dragons everyday (or attend the Queen's courtroom for rankings)?

I only see two reasons to really play the game:

1) Grind Azteca for the best gear, hopefully finding the rare crystals in the process and

2) Attending the Queen's court to increase rankings, thereby raising the clan's ranking.

I will honestly say, with no offence to anyone, that this is just a bit, er, boring to me. Say what you will. I"m just saying what I will.

I am wondering if anyone else feels the same way, though...tell me I'm not crazy for thinking this...

There are two new areas in the works; one of them is already in place on Bodkin. The last projection I heard for updating Wild was sometime this summer, so that means we're probably going to ACTUALLY get it next year sometime

ok what is wild and bodkin lol im lost and tarth i feel u ive been playing for almost 3 1/2 years now on and off the crystals were fun but didnt add any more excitment to the game u digg i guess the most fun of the game is in the tp where u can sell ur goodies etc... thats what i think

wild.ffiends.com is the server where DCourt is located; bodkin.ffiends.com is the server where DCtest is located.

no different server different characters

i have a char in the bodkin server its much like Dc though you have unlimited quests(per say you just refresh the page and start again) its just a testing ground for Dc really its all the new things Fred and the other programmers have planned for Dc Main.

Note: when they an upgrade is coming "Soon" it may take a year or so :-p

Also Tera when did you notice this? cuz ive known it since i started Dc in 99 lol the only thing keeping me here is the interaction between people

An upgrade is in the works, but Fred has been very busy lately. As far as I know, there aren't any programmers that are working on DC1 right now, so it'll be a while before we see any new updates.

A bit of info for you:

Fred is looking into selling the source code for DC to any interested parties. He has decided he can't give the game the attention it deserves, and having outside programmers helping him in the future is in the best interests of the game.

If anyone wants to find out more, (Please only if you're a programmer, no random enquiries) contact support.

Fred was looking for artists and designers a little while back too, again if you're interested let him know.

That would totally be something I would be willing to do, but I do not have: (A) the money (B) the knowledge and (C) the resources to host DC.

This just means I need to get working on the roleplaying aspect so that we don't have to abandon the place.

Where is it in Bodkin? I can't find it... I've been almost everywhere except Azteca and Shangala. Am I missing a spot? I'm level 27, so, I should at least be able to find it....

Try to read the whole thing. I'm not exactly sure, but Bodkin sounds like a server for another DC version? AMIRITE??

Bodkin is the name of the DCtest server.

I know where Bodkin is, I'm looking for the new area in bodkin, my level 27 (bodkin) character can't find anything new
