I am somewhat knew so don't know what most items sell for especialy since I don't have access to the market yet. Someone on the trading post (might even be in titan for all I know) offered to buy my 31a27dCWT for 1 mill TC or enchants which seems a great deal. Would it be better to ask for item upgrades though which could help my character?

You should decide wether you want to get into the trading frenzy. If you just want to play the game in the good old fashion way, then you'll never ever need 1 mil enchants.

Anyway, No matter what, you should put up a post at the ffiends hosted trading post. Then people will have a chance to bid against eachother,
