I'd just like to know what happened.
There was a time, back when there were a whole bunch of officers and assistants vying for promotion and spamming the forum constantly. I get it, that was a long time ago, and I saw things die down. Older HC left, officers became HC and no new officers and assistants showed up. Well, a few, but the HC by far outnumbered them. And, lets face it, the most active people are HC, Officers and Assistants. Or were.
Things died down, and people left, but we were still alright with the activity. When they ranked active forums, we were one of the most active, and I know; I was an ambassador for a while (kinda), I made the rounds of the clans.
Even when we moved, there was alot of doing of stuff. A few roleplays which died quickly, but we still had a decent amount of activity.
Are we all just getting old and out-growing this, or something? Where did everyone go? Why do roleplays sit unanswered for three days, and there are no newbies trying to spam up the forums to bring up their post count (hey, it's alot easier now than it was then; Curu has 10 k+, now he only has 1.5k).
We've been reduced in power and people, but we're still the largest clan, and the second most powerful clan. The clan with the most powers, too, I believe.
Does anyone know? Did anyone chronicle the fall?

Well, we moved to a different board. That's one reason for my postcount change. Of course, I can have any number I want really. I could make it OVER 9000 if you prefer.

As for the rest, DC is practically dead. Members moved on.

Um well. I think Curulan is right with DC as far as why we're not getting new members. When I joined how you were doing in the game was something to be proud of and this was a nice place to come for help and to learn. Now those of us who do play are meeting our goals and pretty much logging in to keep our characters alive.

There are new games out there attracting more people than DC and no new games everyone wants to go to together.

As for members coming less well I dunno. But that's not really something new.

Spamming to get your post count up... well spamming wasn't cool. That and it's been forever since anyone has said "Yay I made a thousand posts."

Role playing.. well I don't know about that either. Again when I joined there were a lot of active role players here who I thought were awesome. Then things seamed to slow down and there was less to look up to. Life has gotten more busy but outgrowing doesn't feel like it needs blame in my opinion.


But people here are still friendly. I don't know what we need, but I wish others and me as well would have made it to that meeting. It would have helped to have a get-together even if it wasn't for a set discussion.

it IS over 9000. And bugging people on vent just gets you banned...

dc is dying and theres no reason to keep at it anymore aside to waste time and to say hey i got all these silver/crystal gear
who wants to trade for something i dont really need

Well there's hope. Some of us have stayed around. We just need an idea of what to do now, weither it be role playing or some new game.

If only there was a free Dragon Court 3.

I'm trying to shift focus on the roleplaying aspect (keeping within the Dragon Court setting), but lately I've hit Writer's Block and motivation issues.
