So anyways.. we just play random stuff and jam. Though we don't have a name yet, we're known as Sechrist's Wanted. Mainly because we've been in their stairwells a few times because of the awesome acoustics. However a lot of people want to clap along, or pick up the egg shakers we have for others to join in.

But we'd like to get more random super easy interments for more people to join us.

And can't think of many more other than the triangle, tambourine, maracas, claves..and ugh, I think that's it.

There are others though. Like all those simple ones everyone played in music class during elementary school. We just can't remember the names of them. Like that one wooden one you hit or scratch with a stick, or that other stick with bells on the end.

Plus I'm sure a bunch of you could think of more. So, any ideas?

Oh, and here's my djembe;

I love it.

Speaking of music, I need to start playing my trumpet again.

I actually kind of wish I could play with you. ;p

Haha, that'd be fun.

I bet you could find people to play with there too though.

Is this why you are never in the chat anymore? I'm so lonely in there... :cry:

This, midterms, and that my lazy person script stopped working randomly. I should be active in there again soon.

Sure Pab. I'll get to it the next time we jam, which might be a week or so.

It would be more of us messing around than a beat however.

Ok, I've got a recording for you guys.

If you hear sticks hitting together off beat in the background; that's some friends trying to hurt themselves pretending to play swords.

We didn't have the guy who plays the didgeridoo there or the conches to play, but we did have a few new players join in on my mini-djembe or by running a stick down the rail of the stairs. It sounded pretty awesome.

There's a sax, a guitar, an electric guitar that isn't plugged in, tambourine, two djembes, someone singing in part of it, and this other odd string instrument that looked like a triangle with the top cut off; he played it by hitting the strings with these shapely sticks. No idea what it was.
