Clan Titan

Good. Now that I have your attention and you pretty much know what this post is about... I shouldn't have much explaining to do.

I'm trying to make this a SHORT story, but leave it open for possible future additions. THIS IS NOT AN EPIC.

Sorry kiddo's, Titan's only this issue... but if you want in on something later, let me know if you're interested or not now and I can see what story lines I can develop later...

I already have something of the beginnings of a story line mapped out.
Setting- Cartes (the City located near Titan palace)
Characters (so far... if not alright, easily changed)-

Knight Twist (Anyone know where I can find him to ask permission?)

Plot:
I love werewolves so this story is about one of them.
So far I have a prologue mapped out and the start of the second scene. I have picture outlines for the first 6 pages... and the first page sketched out. Ideas at this juncture are welcome, though I won't use every idea suggested...

Prologue- (3 pgs)
2 Lovers on a "hot date" in the forest. Guy is attacked and drug away in front of the chick. Chick runs away to Titan.

Chapt1- (3 pgs so far)
Carn wakes up in bed from a terrible nightmare. Leaves her room and walks down the hall. Overhears Curu and Tordek talking about cult killings. Gets caught... is questioned as to why she's up... lies says she can't sleep... interruped by messenger before she can ask questions. Messenger tells Curu about ranting girl found by the gate guards.... Talks to ranting chicka... that's 'bout all the story I have so far.

Again, ideas are welcome.... I have an idea as to how I want the comic to end... but I'd appreciate help on the middle there. If you want to participate in the story, post a link to a character sheet. Since this is a shorter story, I'd like to keep the number of characters total to about 10-ish, but I think it'd be fun to stick in some of you guys as background characters on other sheets... so Yay.

Keep in mind that ALL artwork is copyright myself. Characters are copyright their respective creators.

Also, chances are updates will be extremely infrequent... but I have the itch right now, so I'm gonna start and hope I finish.... but there are no guarantees.

I know there isn't much posting activity here now, but PLEASE don't clutter my thread and say little comments like "Sounds cool","Yay", or whatever. I know it may sound mean by me saying if you're not going to contribute to shut up, but think of it this way... if I have to scroll through 20 "cool" posts to get to one "I'm interested, here's my character sheet" or... "how about doing this" posts, then I won't see those good posts and I'll probably miss LarryQ.Whatever's post that's a really GREAT idea.

Nitpick, but Curu's actually under a Creative Commons license, not copyright (as will be all TitanRP characters -- unless requested otherwise by their creators). Specifically, BY-NC-SA. If you could make reference to that in there somewhere, it would help spread awareness of this. You might also want to say that consent has been given to use Curu in the context of your comic, since technically you cannot use a Share-Alike-licensed "thing" in a work that is not also under a Share-Alike license (such as copyright).

So... I finished drawing page 2 this weekend. I started to clean it up so I could colour it, but got distracted by my husband... he reinstalled old Quest for Glory games... which made me want to reinstall my old adventure games, so I put Gabriel Knight 2 on my computer and got through half of chapter 3 (of 6) last night... I know... distracted.

I also scanned drafts of pages 3-4... which I'm having issues with... I started doodling (aparently the logo for Prince...) on page 3 because I didn't want to draw the background. Page 4 I want to change the layout on, but haven't exactly decided how I want to change it.

I appreciate all the banter, but if you fellas could stick to comments pertaining to the comic I'd appreciate it. I might split the topic into two threads-- one for banter and one for comic productivity.

If you want a char that just pops in for small dialogue, feel free to us me =P

If you need.... someone in the tavvie talking about some rumor, or a HC to take a small band of rangers out, etc

And if you want to mislead readers by giving out a 3rd-party character, you can use my champion, Legionairre. He's pretty bored nowadays due to all the liquor but would love to be an extra in your story!

Now you're talking! ... but I still need to know what your characters LOOK like. Post your character sheets or a physical description (include colours). =P

Chesh, I can actually fit you in on page6-ish as the guy who lets Curu know there's a witness (Mariella) to the latest slaying. It fits because you'd be going to an area where HC members are the only ones allowed. Might just be 1-2 frames... but shoot. It'd be fun.

There will probably be some scene in public where I can put other characters in. Shoot, I could put other clan members in as other characters-- I just wanted to give Titans first dibs.... since this is a comic about something happening at Titan. =)
