@Jade: Ninjas don't cheat usually. They use they stealth skill to befuddle the Pirate across the table. Now when they use a smoke bomb to move pieces around, eh...that's cheating

Pirates are generally lice-ridden, smell like rum, and have missing teeth. Ninjas, on the other hand, have clean black hair (red if you're an Irish ninja), wash regularly, and are physically fit. I would rather go on a date with a Ninjachick than a Pirategirl, personally.

Tara- the lice and teeth thing is a myth. It adds to the fearsome reputation of pirates. Why, if someone knew pirates had better hygiene than the British, people wouldn't try to avoid them so much. Furthermore, the rum is just a multi-purpose beverage... I mean, who but a pirate would be resourceful enough to use rum as both a drink AND a cologne. This is also done to give pirates a swarthy reputation that strikes fear into the hearts of men and noseplugs into their nostrils.

In comparasion, ninjas are very bland and conforming. They have uniforms and are very unique-- just like other ninjas.... but I wouldn't be suprised if a ninja on a mission were to hide in a heap of smelly trash, which I consider to be more filthy than "Eau De Rum". Furthermore, pirates always face their enemies. They don't go sneaking around behind peoples' backs. They would rather fight face-to-face like real men (and tough women). Yarr!!

Ninjas will die... like the Samaurai did in that Tom Cruise movie... that will be sad, but pirates use guns and ninjas don't.

Ninjas do not die. If no one can see you, you cannot die. Ninjas use secret arts to give them even longer lives. Samurai die because they are stupid enough to be seen. Pirates will die faster than ninjas because pirates drink alot, have bad hygiene, and for other reasons that escape me like a ninja.

And about the pirate vs ninja movies: Pirates like to be in movies, especially when Johnny Depp is in it (he would never do a ninja movie anyways)

It's a good point to make that if someone made a real ninja movie, the audience would never see the ninja because ninjas vanish into thin air constantly and who would want to see that??

i would.. i meant other ninjas would because they have enough skill to see whats coming but the theater wouldnt make any money because ninjas would just sneak in and out u dig... especially if it was a movie about a rice stealing ninja muahahhaha

Har! Do you conceed on the point that Johnny Depp is a pirate and NOT a ninja? Now add Jeoffrey Rush, Chow Yun Fat, Kierra Knightly, and Orlando Bloom. Wait... take out Orlando Bloom, he is a disgrace to the pirate name-- though he does have good hygeine, proving (as I said before) that the whole pirates have poor hygeine is a misnomer and NOT a real pirate fact.

I would also like to add that pirates have way cooler scars than ninjas. You don't see ninjas with peg-legs and hook hands fighting with such ferocity and awesome-ness as PIRATES! Yarr!

Ninjas are too pansy to do dangerous stuff like pirates.... that OR you don't see ninjas without limbs fighting because ninjas are no good without limbs and so their fellow ninjas kill them. That's sucky. Pirates at least let you live if you can still fight. Ninjas have zero skill with missing limbs.

I'm still waiting to hear the name of one CLASSIC novel that has ninjas in it....
